Supporting University and College Student Placements and Field Education Experiences

What we do

KarmaFlights helps to organize placement and field education experiences for students enrolled in colleges and universities around the world.

Importantly, we understand that as students, you will have all kinds of assessment and learning tasks you need to complete during your placement, and we want to make sure it is a successful learning experience for you.

Our role includes:

Sourcing suitable placements.
Information sessions prior to arriving in Nepal.
Meet and greet services upon arriving in Nepal.
Cultural, language, and city orientation.
Sourcing suitable accommodation.
Providing personable care and support to you through the placement when you need it!

Trekking adventures

After you have finished your placement, we will also organize a trekking adventure for you.

For 2024

Placement experience: Social Work Field Education

Course: Bachelor or Master of Social Work with an accredited Australian-based university
Time Frame: Approximately 500 hours or 3 months
Hosts: Students will be placed with a reputable NGO in Pokhara. Some of these NGOs work in community development, community education, women’s health and wellbeing, family well-being, and disability care.
Supervision: All social work students are provided with supervision as per the college/university requirements

Placement experience: Paramedic Placements

Course: Diploma of Emergency Health care or equivalent
Time Frame: 160 hours
Hosts: Students will be placed with Charak Memorial Hospital in Pokhara
Supervision: All paramedic students are provided with supervision as per the college/university requirements
