Students Placement and Field Education Experiences in Nepal

What we do

KarmaFlights helps to organise placement and field education experiences for students enrolled in colleges and universities around the world.

Importantly, we understand that as students, you will have all kinds of assessment and learning tasks you need to complete during your placement. At Karmaflights want to make sure your placement is a successful learning experience for you.

To support you through your learning journey our experienced Karmaflights volunteers will:

  • Source suitable placement host organisations

  • Facilitate a Cultural Immersion Program prior to arriving in Nepal and in your first week once you have arrived in Nepal

  • Source suitable accommodation

  • Provide personable care and support to you through the placement when you need it!

Who are our volunteers?

All our placement experiences are run by our KarmaFlights volunteers Annie and Chris Townsend who live in Nepal for four months or every year (How lucky are we to have them here with us in Nepal!).

Annie and Chris are super experienced university teachers in Australia and know how important student placements are in preparing students for their future careers.

Having Annie and Chris on board as volunteers means that not only will you have a wonderful learning experience during your placement led by Annie and Chris, but it also means we can continue to support our projects at KarmaFlights through the placement program. Annie and Chris’ heartfelt volunteer work ensures our projects flourish and make a big difference to the communities we work with.
